Why do some fax transmissions fail?
Some automatic fax calls don't
produce CNG (or CalliNG) tones (the ones that precede the loud,
shrieking sounds). These calls are routed instead to the answerer.
With AutoSwitcher this is easy to fix. It can be programmed to
handle such calls automatically. If you pick up and no ones
there, simply press #11 to send the fax to the fax port. If someone's
sending a fax manually and you're away, include the #11 info in
your outgoing answering machine message so they'll know what to
